Paul Kelsey, Editor in Chief
Paul Kelsey, Head of Acquisitions at Sims Memorial Library at Southeastern Louisiana University, earned his Master’s in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Religion from Colorado College. During Paul’s more than ten year’s experience as a librarian, he has worked in children’s services in public libraries, as a school librarian, and an academic librarian. He is a past reviewer for School Library Journal and is co-founder of The Louisiana Young Readers’ Choice Award. Paul has published numerous articles, co-edited Outreach Services in Academic and Special Libraries, and is currently on the editorial board of Financial Counseling and Planning. He has served on a variety of American Library Association committees, including serving as co-chair of the 2007 Oberly Award committee. Mary-Lane Kamberg is an award-winning professional writer and speaker and co-leader of the Kansas City Writers Group. She also founded and directs the Kansas City Young Writers Camp. At the age of seven, she published a neighborhood newspaper, printed on a toy printing press. At nine, she earned $1 for her first published poem. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas and has published books, articles, short stories, and poems.
