About Launch Pad
Launch Pad is a new literary and arts magazine dedicated to publishing fiction, nonfiction, poetry, book reviews, and artwork by children ages 6-12. The first six thematic issues appeared online starting in January/February 2008.
Launch Pad has changed its publishing model for 2009. Instead of publishing six thematic issues a year, we will be considering works related to any topic to be published on an ongoing basis. We are still accepting submissions from young authors and artists for 2009 publications. Published works will appear online in an open access format, and a new web site design is coming soon!
Published works will be well-written and imaginative, with universal appeal to children ages 6-12. Works have already been accepted from all over the United States, as well as England, Belgium, New Zealand, and Australia. Librarians are welcome to add a link to Launch Pad to their library web sites.
